JU JITSU AUSTRALIA DOJOS

Ju Jitsu Australia Dojos was established on the 8th of August 1998. Soke Joe Varvello who is the Founder and Principal Instructor has over 30 years dedication and teaching experience in the art of Ju Jitsu. Ju Jitsu Australia Dojos is a fully recognised style through the All Japan JuJitsu International Federation (AJJIF) and has been renowned as a family club with Soke Joe's wife Shihan Ann who has been training in martial arts since 1992 also assists in teaching the classes.

Both Soke Joe and Shihan Ann are Certified Life Members and are fully recognised by the All Japan Ju Jitsu International Federation (AJJIF) the world governing body and international headquarters of traditional/classical/ modern and combat martial arts federation and IBMA - International Budo Masters Associaton.  AJJIF is a government registered and recognised non-profit 50(c)(3) sports & education organisation. http://www.ajjif.org/welcome

Ju Jitsu Australia Dojos is also a member of the Ju Jitsu Instructors Alliance who oversee our Instructors Dan level gradings, gives recognition to our instructors and approves our teaching criteria and teaching practices.

All instructors and assistant instructors are holders of the "Working with Children Check Card" as issued by the Department of Justice Victoria.

Ju Jitsu Australia Dojos offers a 10 level belt system, based on the fundamental teachings and techniques of traditional Ju Jitsu. All classes are taught by fully recognised Black Belt Instructors using a structured syllabus. Ju Jitsu Australia Dojos also prides its self on using and maintaining safe training methods.
